First of all - if you never did plan to go on a day-long wine tour through the beautiful Pfalz area in Southern Germany you should stop everything that you‘re doing right now and start your research on all the different vineyards. After visiting three wineries before lunch time we were excited to indulge in some french-mediterranean cuisine in the picturesque village of Großkarlbach. Not only was the service great throughout the whole time but the food and selection of wines was definitely Michelin Star worthy. And for just 39€ for the petit menu you get already more than you could ask for when going out for lunch. The creations of the kitchen were absolutely fabulous and tasty and our tastebuds exploded continuously because of the perfect made food. Make sure to stop by and indulge here - the fish courses were absolutely amazing!

The guest is welcomed in a listed building with an impressive ambience. The petite menu is almost star-worthy at a reasonable price. The menu is perfectly chosen and the dishes are a delight for the eye and the palate. The service is friendly and competent.
Unfortunately the restaurant is moving to a neighboring town this year. Fortunately, the kitchen and service team will remain with the guests.

We were there when there were menus under the motto "Special Alsace". Just fantastic. Everything was a delight, the food gorgeous, the location beautiful and the service so warm and pleasant we felt very comfortable straight away. Absolute recommendation.
